Laboratory for in vitro sun protection assessment of your sunscreen products
☀️ HelioScreen ☀️
Since 1999, HelioScreen has been the laboratory specializing in the in-vitro evaluation of sun protection in cosmetic products.
A pioneer in In Vitro solar tests, HelioScreen is a stakeholder in setting standards and methods worldwide. More than 20% of our activity is devoted to research and innovation for continuous improvement of tests. Traceability and quality are the company’s permanent commitments.
Pioneer in the field, we put at your service our scientific expertise acquired over these years of practice and internationally recognized.
In recent years, HelioScreen has been able to develop innovative methods (in vitro evaluation of infrared protection and Blue Light, etc.), as well as new technologies (robotic spreading, reproducible sandblasted substrates, etc.) aimed at enabling better reliability of sun protection evaluation tests, thanks to better reproducibility and better correlation of results.
A wide range of tests
The laboratory offers many tests to assess the sun protection of your products and meet your needs: classic tests according to the latest official methods and standards, packs combining in vitro and in vivo assessments, as well as specific methods.
You will find all of our evaluation tests for SPF, UVAPF, Critical Wavelength, Water Resistance, etc. in our solar tests section.
At the heart of the methods
Anxious to respect regulations and methods while having a strong implication in the news intervening in connection with the medium of the solar production, HelioScreen is for many years present within various normative groups such as ISO, CEN, AFNOR and many others.

One Writing System
Beyond our quality policy, our laboratory is based on the principle of the “One Writing System”. From the reception of the product and its reference, from its labeling and the performance of the test to the sending of the result, our system ensures absolute traceability.
In Vitro results in 5 days
The advantage of our system is to ensure you carry out in vitro tests with transmission of results in 3 to 5 days and send the final report in 7 to 9 days. Each step is strictly followed in order to satisfy you and keep you informed of the progress of your study.
